Blueprints for the Future

When wildfires devastate communities like Altadena and the Palisades, rebuilding homes is only part of the mission. The real challenge is rebuilding hope, opportunity, and a future for the people who call these neighborhoods home.

Bryant & Co. Foundation’s Blueprints for the Future initiative is designed to do exactly that, by investing in the next generation of builders, contractors, and skilled tradespeople who will lead the recovery.

Through this program, we will be providing grants and scholarships for high school and college-aged youth who want to gain licenses and certifications in the trades most urgently needed for rebuilding:

With the support of private donors, corporate sponsors, and public funding partners, we’re breaking down financial barriers so motivated young people can step into high-paying, long-term careers, all while restoring the streets, homes, and hope of their own communities.

Because when we give our youth the skills and opportunities to rebuild, we’re not just fixing what was lost. We’re creating a future that’s stronger, more resilient, and impossible to burn down.

Why It Matters

Rebuilding communities after disaster isn’t just about restoring what was lost—it’s about creating something stronger, smarter, and sustainable. Blueprints for the Future invests in the next generation by funding trade certifications, apprenticeships, and education for youth who want to be part of the rebuilding effort. These young professionals gain real skills, secure careers, and help transform devastated areas into thriving, resilient neighborhoods.

By bridging education and opportunity, we’re not just rebuilding homes—we’re building futures.

How You Can Help

You can help us train and empower the next wave of builders, electricians, welders, and contractors who will lead California’s recovery.

Together, we can turn recovery into opportunity and create a blueprint for a stronger tomorrow.
