About Us

Mission Statement: As Gifted Services Coordinator for Bryan City Schools, I will lead and facilitate the district’s efforts to identify and serve the academically and artistically gifted students of Bryan. Understanding that gifted children exist in all ethnic, socio-economic, and religious groups, I will expand opportunities for identification and encourage program growth while striving to provide teachers with the resources, tools, and methodology, to enhance the educational experience for gifted students. I will explore ways to reach all types of giftedness to best serve our gifted population. I will encourage a focus on the individual strengths of each student as a learner. In the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom, the program will foster creativity and innovative thinking in the development of self-directed and meaningful contributors in an ever-changing global society.
