After many exciting years of the Bryan Elementary Art show being hosted at the Williams County Public Library, we decided to take a flight across town and host the art show in the halls of our very own Bryan Elementary building!! A huge thanks to Mrs. Ridgway and Mrs. Grant for all of their hard work to organize such a wonderful display of the student talent in our building. We also appreciate all of the other volunteers that helped out in making this art show a success. We hope you had a chance to stop in and see your child's wonderful work on display!
Spring has spring and we are in the home stretch of the 2025-26 school year! The days continue to fly by and the halls of BE are full of end of the year excitement, celebrations and special events. Teachers continue to challenge studnets minds with fun projects, experiments and filed trips while we also fit in end of the year field days, concerts and reward days for various achievements. With all of these special events, please keep checking parent square for communication from your child's teachers.
I want to thank each of you for an amazing year! I consider it an honor to spend my days with young people and here at Bryan Elementary we have some of the best! I wish you all a wonderful end to the school year and hope the lazy days of summer catch up with you at some point over June and July. If I can be of assistance in any way please don't hesitate to reach out via phone, email or parent square.
Twenty five 5th graders had the opportunity to participate in Mini Manufacturing day which was held at NWSCC and sponsored by the Advanced Manufacturing Consortium. Throughout the day students rotated through four stations with activities designed by four local manufacturing companies. The students participated in hands-on learning experiences designed to bring STEM concepts to life and highlight real-world applications. This immersive experience gave students meaningful exposure to potential career pathways within their own community.
These 5th grade art students were this year's Design an Ad contest winners! Mrs. Ridgway and her 5th grade students create advertisements for local businesses each year and those creations are published in the Bryan Times. The project is a great way for BE students to learn about local business and what they do in our community while showcasing their artistic abilities!
Thank you families for all the support and encouragement through these past several weeks of state testing!
Results for math and science are set to be released May 12th with ELA on May 20th.
Parent reports will be coming home before the end of June!
Bryan hosted a unified sports Special Olympics event on Friday, May 1st, at the football field. We invited Evergreen Elementary to join us in different sports such as kickball, soccer, pickleball, and tennis, along with running and throwing events.
Each special needs athlete is paired with a typical partner to play the sports together. After a midmorning of playing different games, the students were all treated to pizza donated by the Bryan Mason Lodge 215 and District 5 Masons. We also want to thank the elementary classes that came out to cheer on our athletes; that was greatly appreciated.
This is the third year of Bryan Schools participating in unified sports.
