Nursing Care 4

We want to say thank you for your time, patience, and dedication as a staff nurse support to our student to help mold the next generation of nurses. Through the staff nurse we allow students to have high quality interactions with the health care team while providing care to patients. 

Nursing Care 4 is our advanced medical surgical course at Bryan College of Health Sciences, and is the final of 4 medical/surgical course series. This course is completed in the first semester of the senior year. We discuss concepts related to critical care and complex disease processes. Including:

• Hemodynamics

• Dysrhythmias

• Acid/Base Imbalance 

• Ventilator management

• Pulmonary Alterations

• Shock/Multiple Organ Dysfunction Syndrome 

• Neurologic & Spinal Cord Injuries

• Trauma 

• Cardiac Alterations 

• Burns

• Organ & Tissue Transplant

• Acute Renal Failure

• Palliative & End of Life Care
