SWIM STROKE (POOL) PRACTICE INFO
As RHMS is not equipped with a pool, swim stroke practice (pool time) will be conducted at usual club team practices (see below).
We work closely with the Georgia Coastal Aquatic Team (GCAT), Low Country Aquatic Club (LCAC), and Savannah Swim Team (SST) coaches to develop a practice schedule that will allow swimmers to be successful for both their school and club teams.
We expect that each RHMS team member will train with their existing club teams during scheduled club practice times. RHMS Swim Team members who are not currently affiliated with a swim club are eligible for free club membership at SST and significantly reduced cost at GCAT. See details below.
Additionally, RHMS will work with club coaches to ensure swimmers are completing events that are consistent with their training.
Local Club Team Information
Non-club affiliated swimmers may practice with the Middle School Prep/JSL 11 & Up group on Wednesdays from 6-7 P.M. and Saturdays from 9:30 - 11 A.M.
Practice sessions are offered at the Richmond Hill Swim Club at
9998 Ford Ave, Suite #7, Richmond Hill, Georgia 31324
The club fee is $60/month and is not included in RHMS Swim Team fees.

The Low Country Aquatic Club offer a wide range of year-round competitive swim team practice options.
LCAC practice sessions are held at the Chatham County Aquatic Center at 7240 Sallie Mood Dr. Savannah, GA 31406.
The main competition pool is 8 lane 50m or 24 lane 50 yd depending on the configuration.Â
The Low Country Aquatic Club offer a wide range of year-round competitive swim team practice options.
The Savannah Swim Team is a competitive year-round swim team offering regular practice sessions at the Liberty County Community Complex at 9397 E. Oglethorpe Hwy, Midway, GA 31320.
SST also offers free bus transportation from and to RHMS for 5 months for new swimmers.
