SWIM TEAM PARENT INFORMATIONAL MEETING:
RHMS DRYLAND PRACTICES HAVE STARTED!
Dryland practices only at RHMS: Tues/Thurs from 3:15 pm to 4:30 pm
Meet in Mrs. Winter's classroom upon 2nd load dismissal. Be changed and ready to go.
Pickup will now be at the bus ramp PROMPTLY at 4:30 pm due to traffic backup in the 6th grade carline.
Attendance is mandatory for swimmers not in their club team practice time during our scheduled practices or other school sanctioned events. See parent/swimmer contract. Email coaches if you have questions.
SWIM STROKE (POOL) PRACTICE INFO:
As RHMS is not equipped with a pool, swim stroke practice (pool time) will be conducted at usual club team practices (see below).
We work closely with both the Georgia Coastal Aquatic Team (GCAT) and the Savannah Swim Team (SST) coaches to develop dryland workouts that will allow swimmers to be successful for both their school and club teams. We expect that each RHMS team member will train with their existing club teams during scheduled club practice times.
If a team member is selected that is not affiliated with a USA Swim Club team, both club teams have provided special offers for swim times for our team:
GCAT: The team is offering a reduced fee of $85/month for Wednesdays from 6-7 pm and Saturdays from 9:30-11 am. Contact Coach Donna at 912-459-0404 for more information. The pool's address is Richmond Hill Swim Club, 9998 Ford Ave #7, Richmond Hill, GA 31324.
SST: The team is offering free pool time for any RHMS swimmer not affiliated with a USA Swim Club during the RHMS season.
