US History Overview

The high school United States History course provides students with a comprehensive, intensive study of major events and themes in US History. Students begin with a study of the earliest colonial settlements and continue to examine major developments in US History up to present day. The course culminates with a Georgia State Exam.

Sociology Overview

Sociology is the scientific study of human society and how social forces affect social behavior. Sociology will acquaint you with your role in society.  What we are talking about here is how you impact your world and how the world impacts you! Across this year we will be studying Social Origins, Culture, Deviance, Institutions, Roles, Groups, and Personality & Socialization!
