Player, Coaches, and Parents,
What a day — and what a game to remember.
We faced a tough, well-coached opponent who has long set the standard in our region. Down 10–1 and staring at the run rule, it would have been easy to fold. But instead, this team showed exactly what it’s made of — heart, fight, and belief. You battled back inning by inning, forced the game to a new field under the lights, and had the bases loaded with a chance to win. We came up one run short on the scoreboard, but we earned something far greater.
After the game, we told the team of three very important WINS:
1️ - Making it to the championship game for the first time in over a decade — a milestone that proves just how far our program has come.
2️ - Never giving up when it would’ve been easy to quit. You showed the kind of resilience and fight that defines true competitors.
3️ - Inspiring the next generation of softball players in our community. Younger athletes watched that comeback and saw what it means to wear our school’s colors with pride and passion. You’ve lit a fire that will carry into seasons to come.
To our coaching staff, thank you for your dedication and belief in these athletes. To our parents, your support and commitment make everything possible — thank you for being in our corner. And to our players, you made history today. You proved that this program is on the rise and that the best is yet to come.
When you walk the halls today, hold your heads high. You represented this program with class, pride, and heart. Losses happen in sports — but how you carry yourself after one shows true character. Let others see the same grace and strength that you showed on the field.
Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it.
