Since the club's inception, interest in lacrosse has grown significantly in Richmond Hill and anticipated membership for the spring season exceeds the program's initial expectations.

While the coaching staff and players foster this growth, we are also working hard to establish RHMS Wildcat Lacrosse as a competitive program. To ensure that each player receives the appropriate playing experience and position-specific coaching necessary to grow as a lacrosse player, the upcoming season will require evaluations and cuts.

Lacrosse requires dedication and a solid work ethic, on and off the field, and prospective players must agree to and comply with the conditions of the RHMS Boys Lacrosse Handbook.

We are a member of the South Coast Lacrosse League (SCLL), and our game schedule will be determined by SCLL once all teams have registered. We anticipate Monday, Thursday, and Saturday games. Flexibility is somewhat of a prerequisite, as weather and logistics can put a damper on planned activities during Spring sports.

As a club sport, we pay dues to the SCLL for scheduling and facilities administration, as well as officiating. For the 2025 season, player fees will be approximately $150. While this price includes uniform and league registration, it does not include equipment, which is an additional cost. See EQUIPMENT page for information about equipment requirements.
