Tryouts:
Monday, April 13th: Rising 6th Graders only 3:30-5:00
Tuesday, April 14st: All Grade Levels 2:45-5
Wednesday, April 15nd: All Grade Levels 2:45-5
Thursday, April 16rd: All Grade Levels 2:45-5
Coaches may make cuts on any day of tryouts. Please be prepared to check the "Cleared for Tryouts" list each day.
Rising 6th Graders: please arrive as soon as possible (3:45 at the latest). We understand you don't get out of school until later.

Pre-Season Conditioning:
Pre Season Conditioning - Starting March 12th - April 16th
Thursdays until 4:30 pm
To attend Cheerleading Try-outs, athletes must:
#1) Complete the 2026 Tryout Sign- Up form
#2) Create a DragonFly Account
#3) Have 1 Teacher and 1 Non- Relative recommendation (i.e. another coach- Can also be another teacher). Please email them the link or ask them to visit our website to find it. 2026 Cheer Tryout Recommendation form
#4) Tryout material will be made available April 17th!
Athletes are expected to wear school appropriate gym attire and running shoes with their hair up and no jewelry on.
Athletes will also need to bring cheer shoes (optional if you don't have any) and a water bottle.

If you make the team we will have workouts and choreography during the summer.
All athletes may tryout without experience or the skills listed below but we do encourage a high level of skill and technique .
Cheer: Sharp/tight motions, voice projection, positive demeanor
Jumps: Flexibility, speed, height, pointed toes
Standing Tumbling: Front Walkover, Back Walkover, Back Handspring, Back Tuck
Running Tumbling: Round-off Back handspring, Round-off Back Tuck, Round-off Back handspring Tuck, Round-off Back handspring Layout, Round-off Back handspring Full (Aerials, Arabians, punch fronts, whips also permitted)
Stunts at single leg extension: Libs, heel stretch, arabesque, scorpion, bow and arrow etc.
