Georgia’s Dual Enrollment Program allows eligible high school students to earn both high school and college credit at participating colleges and universities.

• 11th- and 12th-grade students may enroll in approved core academic and Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) courses.

• 10th-grade students may enroll in approved CTAE courses at participating technical colleges. Eligible students who earn a minimum SAT score of 1200 or an ACT composite score of 26 in a single national test administration may also qualify for approved core academic courses. Students should meet with their high school dual enrollment counselor to confirm eligibility.

Dual Enrollment helps students explore career paths, reduce future college costs, and develop valuable skills while getting a head start on their college education.

Please note: Services and accommodations provided through a student’s IEP or 504 Plan do not automatically transfer to the college they attend for Dual Enrollment. Students should contact the college’s Student Services or Accessibility/Disability Services Office before classes begin to learn about the documentation and steps required to request accommodations. College accommodations may differ from those provided in high school.
