Camp Staff

Mrs. T is new to the elementary world this year! After spending 20+ years at the high school level, she decided to take on new adventures as the media specialist here at MES. Mrs. T is originally from Rock Hill, SC and attended the College of Charleston (SC), where she earned her BA in English and Secondary Education. Her husband, Bo, took a job in Savannah, so they relocated here in 1997. Mrs. Thompson taught English at Richmond Hill High School, eventually earning her Masters from Georgia Southern in Instructional Technology/Media Specialist and becoming a Media Specialist/Technology Integrator at RHHS. She has two children in the RH schools, Jed, 9th grade, and Charlotte, 6th grade. In her spare time, you will find her outside doing yard work and exercising or heading to the mountains - her happy place!

Mrs. K is our rock star media paraprofessional! She has been at McAllister since it opened, helping all kids find just the right book to keep them coming back for more! She has been in the educational world for over 20 years, and the kids just love Mrs. K!
