Tryouts:
Tuesday, Aug 12: All Grade Levels - 2:30-4:00pm
Wednesday, Aug 13: All Grade Levels (1st cuts only) - 2:30-4:00pm
Thursday, Aug 14: All Grade Levels (Final Evaluation) - 2:30-4:00pm

To attend Cheerleading Try-outs, athletes must:
*If you previously filled out information for cheer via the competition page- please resubmit information using the forms posted below as we now have a site dedicated to sideline cheer.
#1) Complete the 2025 Tryout Sign- Up form
#2) Have an updated physical on file (Please attach as a pdf file in an email to coaches)
#3) Have 1 Teacher and 1 Non- Relative recommendation (i.e. another coach- Can also be another teacher). Please email them the link or ask them to visit our website to find it. 2025 Cheer Tryout Recommendation form
#4) Create a DragonFly Account (NEW)
#5) Tryout material will be made available August 6th!
Athletes are expected to wear school appropriate gym attire and running shoes with their hair up and no jewelry on.
Athletes will also need to bring cheer shoes (optional if you don't have any) and a water bottle.

All athletes may tryout without experience or the skills listed below but we do encourage a high level of skill and technique .
Cheer: Sharp/tight motions, voice projection, positive demeanor
Jumps: Flexibility, speed, height, pointed toes
Standing Tumbling: Front Walkover, Back Walkover, Back Handspring, Back Tuck
Running Tumbling: Round-off Back handspring, Round-off Back Tuck, Round-off Back handspring Tuck, Round-off Back handspring Layout, Round-off Back handspring Full (Aerials, Arabians, punch fronts, whips also permitted)
Stunts at single leg extension: Libs, heel stretch, arabesque, scorpion, bow and arrow etc.
