This is Mrs. Smith's first year as the EMR Instructor. She has been a guest lecturer over the last year with RHHS EMR program as well as one of the leads for the Disaster Drill. She also serves within the ESS Department when not in her EMR class.
Mrs. Smith grew up in the country side of Middle Tennessee and moved here with her family in 2017. 4-H, shooting sports and community service were her passion growing up and still are in many ways. She has a background in athletic training, shooting sports instruction, youth coaching, adult leaders training, outdoor education instruction, and professionally as Army Combat Medic. Ressa has a love for archery and the outdoors that drives her passion to make sure all those who wish have access to the skills needed to be successful.
Mrs. Smith has a big heart for volunteering. You will see her most weekends with one of the two scouting troops she is involved in. She is the Scoutmaster for a new All Girl BSA Troop in Richmond Hill that is Chartered to the VFW Post #7331 with her daughter. When she isn't with her daughter's unit she is with her son's unit assisting Boy Scout Troop 400 as an Assistant Scoutmaster.
