Conditioning and Tryouts Schedule
Conditioning and tryouts will take place in the month of August, with dates given out closer to the 2024 school year. In order to participate in both, students will need to have the RHMS Athletic Registration Form filled out, a physical on file with RHMS and the 2024 Cross Country Tryout Sign Up Form filled out. Links to these can be found under the Registration and Physical tab on the website.
Practice Schedule
Practice will be every day after school until 4:45 pm between the months of AUGUST through OCTOBER. Practice will be held at Richmond Hill Middle School. After practice players can be picked up at the bus ramp pickup area near the gym.
Summer Workouts.
Go for a run and enjoy it! Keep it fun and stay healthy!
Build Miles: Be able to run a couple of miles without stopping. Allow the CC season to build speed.
Run Soft: Trails and grass are the best surfaces to run on.
Its Hot: Find the coolest part of the day to run. CC season is the hottest time on the year.
Water: Make sure you staying hydrated.
Be flexible: On vacation, GREAT! Take advantage of running in new places. Find some hills.
Stretching, sleep, nutrition and hydration are all essential.
