Welcome to Weight Lifting! Get ready to step into a world of strength, conditioning, and self-improvement. In this course, you will have the opportunity to develop physical fitness through resistance training and weight lifting exercises. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting your fitness journey, our experienced coaches will guide you in proper weightlifting techniques, injury prevention, and personalized workout routines tailored to your fitness level and sport. We will cover various lifts, such as squats, deadlifts, bench press, and more, ensuring you gain a solid foundation in strength training. Safety, discipline, and teamwork will be emphasized throughout the class, and you'll have the chance to track your progress and witness your own growth. My name is Sarah Jones. I am entering my 17th year of teaching here in Richmond Hill. I am the Varsity Girl's basketball coach. I have a passion for teaching and coaching, both on and off the court. I look forward to a great year of learning and growing!
