Our 2025-26 Officers are ready and excited for another amazing year in Cat Chat!
VICTORIA GRANT (President)
The President is the chief executive officer of the Cat Chat Club. The role involves general supervision and operation of the club. The President presides at Club meetings and directs the club in meeting the members' needs for educational growth and leadership. In cooperation with the rest of the officers, the President establishes long-term and short-term goals for the club.
JAEDEN PITTS (Executive Curriculum Director)
The Executive Curriculum Director (ECD) handles the educational/speech programming within Cat Chat Club. The role involves ensuring that all members continue their progress towards their chosen speech goals that are set up by the club. They handle the learning aspect of Cat Chat to guarantee all members are gaining important knowledge on public speaking skills, presence, and etiquette.
OPE ADENIJI (Executive Public Relations Director)
The Executive Public Relations Director is responsible for managing the public image and promotional presence of Cat Chat. This includes creating engaging content, overseeing marketing strategies, and managing social media and other communication platforms. The EPRD works to highlight member achievements, upcoming events, and the overall mission of Cat Chat to both the school and the community. In collaboration with the other officers, the EPRD ensures that Cat Chat’s voice is consistently represented with professionalism, creativity, and school spirit.
KIRA POPOVICH (Events Governor)
The ECC plans, organizes, and implements events and programs to maintain an exemplary image of Cat Chat along with providing a joyful event for participants and spectators. Common activities overseen include speaking campaigns, media representation, and announcements. The EEC is also in charge of handling the schedule for any events as well as directing people to their designated locations.
ASPEN DUNBAR (Executive Mentor)
The Executive Mentor provides guidance, advice, and feedback to support Cat Chat members during the different experiences, meetings, events, etc. that they will have a chance to participate in. The Executive Mentor also acts by serving variously as a role model, teacher, counselor, advisor, sponsor, advocate, and ally, depending on the specific goals and objectives of the Cat Chat member. New members will also participate and receive information at an orientation from the EM.
NOELLE SPENCE (Secretary)
The Secretary is responsible for the Cat Chat Club records and correspondence. The role involves all administrative details between the Cat Chat Club and keeping the documents available and up-to-date. This includes speech tracking. The secretary also cares for the club's current club records and communication between members and officers along with running the Google Classroom. When members complete a speech or a major achievement, it is the Secretary who signs off with the ECC to ensure proper recognition.
