"Great stories happen to those who can tell them." --Ira Glas (Quote of Quality)
This is your Home Page and first impression. Make sure that it is proofread and professional. Choose a theme, color scheme, and visuals that best represent you. You can also use BRVGS branding by adding the logo and colors.
When writing text on your site, be sure that you don't leave single words hanging all by themselves. Try to use the entire line; you may have to add or edit as necessary. Text should also be left justified rather than centered.
On this page, you should include a picture of yourself, a brief bio, and a quick/simple explanation of your internship, research topic, community service, and legacy. This is also a great place to put your "Quote of Quality."
Give text boxes and graphics roughly the same compositional weight, or equal amounts of space. Preview your site frequently to see how the different elements appear on the page.
Add a school appropriate, professional photo of you, ideally one related to your internship or service. Notice also where the main subjects are looking - either at the camera or towards the text. This will help direct the viewer's eyes. (Captions are usually centered.)
Design Notes: Use the divider bars to separate different sections on each page. It's an easy way to improve the reader's experience and give your portfolio a more professional and polished appearance. You can also tinker with the colors and background by hovering over a section, clicking on the artist's palette, and selecting Regular or Emphasis.
