Meet Mr. Cipperly

Hello!  If you are visiting this page, I am betting you are in my class.  I created this little page to give you some information about me.  I graduated from SUNY Oneonta in 2006 with my Bachelor's degree.  After that I was a teaching assistant in Lansingburgh before making my way to Tamarac.  I taught 4th grade at Tamarac for 7 years before joining the 6th grade team.  After teaching a year of 6th grade English I made the switch to Social Studies. 

A fun fact about me is that I love sports.  That's right, pretty much all of them.  I coached JV Soccer here at Tamarac for 9 years.  My favorite teams are the New York Yankees (don't worry, a few Red Sox fans have survived in my class.  Just be prepared to look at the Yankees bulletin board all year), the New York Giants, Manchester United and the Syracuse Orange.

I also love pizza, ice cream, television, movies and reading.  I look forward to getting to learn about your interests throughout the year!

I have a daughter and a son.  Don't worry, you will get to see lots of pictures throughout the school year!
