MEMS and Sunderland School do not currently have a start date due to staffing shortage.

ASP is closed for the summer.
Enrollment forms will be available for the 22-23 school year in August.
ASP is a high quality, school managed, and state licensed after school program. ASP provides a safe and fun learning environment for students enrolled in grades K-6 and are 5 to 12 years old.

The BRSU After School Program (ASP) follows the same behavioral and social expectations as the school day but in a less structured environment. Our aim is to provide an environment where students can finish their homework, play with their friends, experiment, and create. Time is set aside every day for recess, snack, homework, free play and special projects.
Our staff is trained in school procedures and policies as well as the tools and skills they need to help to create a safe, enriching and engaging environment for all the students in the program. Every staff member and volunteer undergoes both a state and federal background check.

The program runs from dismissal until 5:30 pm, Monday thru Friday when school is open.
Costs for a full day is $17 a day per child.
All sites accept Vermont State Child Care Benefits and can aid parents in applying for subsidy. Tuition assistance is available. https://dcf.vermont.gov/benefits/ccfap/apply
Billing occurs every two weeks and statements are available for pick-up at ASP.
Checks can be made out to Taconic and Green School District or Mettawee School District, depending on the school site.
Snack is provided everyday and meets Vermont Child Nutrition Standards. All provided snacks are nut-free.
All staff in the after school program are trained in Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, AED and First Aid as well as the use of asthma rescue inhalers and epi-Pens.
All staff complete annual professional development.
