I am so excited to be your teacher this year. We are going to do so many exciting and fun things together this year as we learn and grow together. I can't wait to learn all about you, but first here are a few things to know about me.
I grew up on the SF Peninsula so this area is incredibly special to me. I studied philosophy at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and received my teaching credential from Notre Dame de Namur University. In 2013, I received my Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I pride myself in being a lifelong learner and hope to pass on my love of learning to all of my students.
My teaching experience began at a STEM Magnet school teaching fifth grade before transitioning to a general fifth grade classroom in Hillsborough City School District for four wonderful years where I supported other classroom teachers in the areas of enrichment and technology. I have taught computer science and robotics classes to my former students, including video game design. I am very excited about integrating technology into the classroom, as well as project-based learning.
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns, and I am very much looking forward to a fantastic school year.
