What will we do in animation class?

In animation class I plan on having us draw cartoon characters with pencil and paper, create animation for the school's webpage and create collaborative multi-class as well as individual videos using Adobe Animate for all to enjoy. Animation history and several styles of animation will be discussed and shown. Animation techniques and the animation process will be covered with a strong emphasis on what is important in creating a good visual story. In all of my classes students use technology in artistic ways to explore and develop the creative side of themselves.

Rules

1 - Be kind, respectful and supportive.

2 - Always give your best effort and be as creative as you possibly can.

Grades

Grades in animation class are based on effort and folowing the above rules. Basically if you give your best effort for the entire class period on each project, you will get an A. More details will be given for each individual project. Everything is done in class. There is no homework.
