Mrs. Hess

Welcome to fourth grade! Mrs. Kemmann and I are so excited to be your teachers this year!

My name is Mrs. Hess.  I have been teaching at Van Holten for 24 years. I have taught every grade level and have also been the Resource Room teacher as well. I especially love teaching reading. I am thrilled to be teaching fourth again, especially with the amazing Mrs. Kemmann! 

I have four children of my own, two sons and two daughters. They are all grown. They all went to Van Holten!  We still love to spend time together.  We all have dogs. I have a Goldendoodle named Mulligan. This summer was crazy when we all got together in Cape May at my house with five dogs!  We all love the beach and playing Bananagrams together. I love reading on the beach and walking along the bay.
