Dear Students,

Welcome to our class, where every day is a new adventure and every one of you is a very important part of our team. I am Ms. Cintron, and I cannot tell you how excited I am to spend this school year with you. We have a year full of discovery, laughter, learning, and growing together ahead of us.

Before we dive into all the fun, let us talk about summer. I hope you had an amazing break filled with sunshine, play, cool treats, and maybe even some silly or wild adventures. Whether you spent time at the beach, had fun with family, or just relaxed, I cannot wait to hear all about what made your summer special.

Now, let us talk about what makes our class unique and exciting. Yes, we will learn to read incredible stories, solve mind-blowing math puzzles, and explore science with fun, hands-on experiments. But in this classroom, we are also going to focus on something just as important—understanding ourselves and our emotions.

Throughout the year, we will explore our feelings and learn how to manage them in positive and respectful ways. We will practice how to calm down when we feel upset, how to speak up when something feels unfair, and how to accept all of our feelings, even the tough ones. It is okay to have big emotions here. This is a safe place where we will learn how to handle them together.

In our class, we believe in kindness, respect, and lifting each other up. We will build strong friendships, celebrate each other’s victories big and small, and support one another when things get tricky. Mistakes are part of learning, and every day is a fresh start.

So get ready, C-1 students, because we are about to begin an incredible journey. I am so proud to be your teacher, and I cannot wait to shine with you, grow with you, and have the best year ever.
