This club is open to any students who are interested in techiniccal theatre or audio/visual equipment. We provide an opportunity for BRHS students to work with peers and trained professionals to further their knowledge of the technical aspects of the auditorium space, and provide support for A/V needs of school events held within held in the theater. Students will create a sense of pride and ownership in the performance space as they work together to maintain, care for, and become trained on the technical equipment in the BRHS auditorium.

Mrs. Day is thrilled to be involved with the Bridgewater-Raritan Theatre Arts program as the advisor and director of the productions. She is a Theatre Arts/Music teacher at Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School. Prior to that she led the music programs at Bradley Gardens School and Crim School for a number of years and was the proud recipient of the Governor’s Teacher of the Year Award in 2016-17. She has directed a number of productions during her teaching career and most recently led the productions of High School Musical at BRHS and Into the Woods, Jr at Hillside School.
She holds a Bachelor of Music from The College of New Jersey in Music Education (voice) and a Master of Music in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory. She has performed extensively in local and regional productions. A few of her previous credits include The Spitfire Grill (Percy), Jolson and Co. (female roles), Pirates of Penzance (Ruth), The It Girl (Betty), and various productions of Into the Woods (Witch, Baker’s Wife, Cinderella’s Stepmother). She was also a featured soloist with the Boston Pops Orchestra.
Mrs. Day hopes to share her love of the theatre with students, both in the classroom and on stage. She wants every student to see their true potential and gifts as they learn to tell their stories on stage, by tapping into their creative and empathetic spirits. She is incredibly grateful for the teachers that instilled a passion for the theatre in her over the years, and hopes to be that teacher for others. “Into the woods, but not forgetting why I’m on the journey…” (Sondheim)
