Hello, BRVS students and parents! I am glad you’re here. My role at BRVS is student success coach. You might be wondering what a success coach is. A success coach is an extra layer of support to help students navigate online school. I can clarify expectations, help you set up routines/structures/schedules, point students/families to supports and resources in the community, help students in their college and career plans, and help make sure that nothing preventable gets in the way of students receiving their diploma.

My background in education includes 17+ years of teaching world languages and also school counseling. I have a bachelor’s degree in Spanish, French, and secondary education from GVSU, and I received my master’s degree in school counseling from GVSU also. In my free time, I like to read, work on my house, travel, read, and hang out with my kids, husband, and pets.
