Career and Technical Education


The mission of Career and Technical Education (CTE) is to empower CTE students to successfully transition into post-secondary and career opportunities and become positive, contributing members of society. CTE students in our district gain technical and high-level academic skills, thus equipping them to be lifelong learners.

Brownwood ISD offers five endorsements:


Within each of the five endorsements, BISD offers over fifteen pathway options (e.g., animal science, welding, education, fine arts, etc.).

Brownwood ISD ofrece programas vocacionales en ciencias agrícolas, educación tecnológica, ciencia de familia y el consumidor, tecnología de ciencias de salud, educación de mercadotecnia, educación empresarial, y educación de comercio industrial. Admisión a estos programas es basado en interés del estudiante, compleción de los cursos recomendados como prerrequisito, y espacio en clase disponible.
