Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Welcome to Year 6 Te Ngahere! (+ 10 fab Year 5 students!) 

We’re looking forward to getting back and starting the year ahead.

Outlined below are some class and school information to ensure your students are prepared and excited for their Year 6 (and Year 5) adventure.

• Return date: Thursday 1st February. Class begins at 8:50am.

• Students will be able to enter the building at 8:30am.

• Students can hang their bags on the deck that is out from their new class spaces.

  • Rooms 25 & 27 - deck closest to Office building

  • Rooms 24 & 25 - deck closest to the Hall

• Swimming is likely on the first day back so please ensure your child has packed swimming gear.

• School uniform hats are compulsory in Term 1 and Term 4.

• Please ensure all uniform and swimming gear is named to avoid mysterious disappearances 

• Ordered stationery boxes will be delivered to school prior to school starting. We will be labelling and covering these at school. If you would prefer your child brings the stationery box home, please email and we will do that. 

• All students will need their stationery ready for use at school by Monday 5th February.

Online school orders must be ordered before 25 January, and will be delivered direct to school before we start.

• Year 6 Camp at Carey Park - Monday 12th February to Wednesday 14th February.

• Information regarding Year 5 Camp will be sent out shortly.

• Friday 29th March - Tuesday 2nd April - Easter Break (School Closed)
