12x16 stalls with 16 x 30' runs with SoftStall mats in every stall. These are the same mats as at WEC in Ocala, FL.
Daily turnout is provided in 50'x250' runs and is catered to the specific horse. Small group turnout is available depending on the horse.
Fencing is made of coated wire which is tension set. If a horse gets caught in the fence the fence will collapse preventing further injury to the horse.
Horses are turned out a minimum of 4-hours a day up to 14 hours, except when weather does not permit. (i.e. heavy snow, rain or dangerously wet footing)
Horses are given a nutritional analysis to determine their current feed, potential needs and to address existing issues. Each feeding is custom designed to meet each horses needs. Feeding options includes grass hay, alfalfa, and our house grain, Hallway FibreEnergy, Stamm30. Additional house grains are available, but charged separately, including: Hallway Luminence and Handimash, psyllium (monthly). Wormers are given on a barn schedule and are design to meet the unique requirements of our facility and the horses within it.
Owner provided medications, grains or supplements are fed as needed to all horses - no baggies required!
Feeding philosophy: Horses are fed grass hay as needed and are checked regularly to ensure they have consistent hay in front of them. Alfalfa is added, as needed, for a healthy weight and gut, for each horse. Grain is fed upto three times a day, again, as needed, for each horse. No more than 4lbs of grain is fed at any single feeding.
Horses are blanketed to their specific needs by staff. Some horses run hotter than others and blanketing is catered to each horse accordingly. Fly sheets, masks and fly boots are applied to horses in the summer, as provided by the owner.
The barn is made of steel and aluminum with fire-stopping walls to prevent any chance of a barn fire and has been designed to optimize airflow and prevent unhealthy, stagnant air building up inside. The barn is not heated, but specific rooms are - again, to minimize risk of fire. Additionally, we have designed everything to be chew resistant and kick resistant (they can't kick through the walls) and the stall mats prevent urine and feces from being trapped underneath them, creating a safe and sanitary facility. Waters and feed buckets are cleaned daily with bleached. We do not use automatic waters so we can ensure all horses are drinking appropriately. Waters are checked throughout the day and filled as needed. 30L buckets are used for watering to ensure no one is ever at risk of running out of water.

NEW: Retirement Space!
I've built more space and now have limited space for retirement. These spaces offer all the care as noted above, plus daily grooming/handling. If you're for a retirement facility for your horse where you never have to worry about them getting the medications/supplements and care they need to be happy and healthy, this is your place!
