SWEC is owned and operated by Michelle McNamara and was started to fill the need for quality care and training for all people and equines. Michelle specializes in eventing and dressage, but believes the partnership and confidence of horse and rider has no discipline.
When it comes to care, there is nothing like it in northern Colorado. Horses are provided high quality hay and alfalfa, as needed, to maintain the perfect body weight and health. Additionally, house grain, Hallway FibreEnergy, is provided at as often as a horse needs, but at least twice daily. Additional house grain including Hallway Luminence and Handimash are available for purchase for equines who need it to look and feel their best. Owner provided oral or topical medications, and supplements are distributed as needed. Blankets, fly protection and just general care is provided at an individual basis, to ensure the highest quality of care and health of your horse. We strive to provide all the care your horse needs to be their best.
Training is included in all boarding packages to ensure everyone is able to grow and achieve the best relationship with their horse. Training packages start at three lessons a week up through full training (five days a week). Training is owner guided and is tailored to ensure you meet your goals with your horse. Whether you want to enjoy the local show circuits, go CCI**, relax on the trail, or enjoy grooming your horse while ground tied, everyone deserves to enjoy the best relationship with their horse.
