Hello!

My name is Karla Vanden Boom and I teach 4 year old Kindergarten at Brown Deer Elementary. I have been teaching elementary students since 2005 and I have been teaching 4K in Brown Deer since 2008. I graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in Elementary Education. I continued my education by getting my Master's Degree in Professional Development from UW-La Crosse. I have learned a lot from my education, but I find the best teachers are the students themselves; as I learn something from them each day.

I teach one morning (AM) session and one afternoon (PM) session. I am excited to be a part of your child's first school experience!
