About me
Hello! My name is Karlee Cholka. I am entering my fourth year of teaching this year, but my third year at Brown Deer Middle School. I spent one year of my career abroad as a teaching assistant in a bilingual school in Madrid, Spain. I am very excited to be teaching at Brown Deer another year and to continue growing alongside students!
I grew up in Delafield, Wisconsin and have a very large family who I love spending time with. Since an early age, I've wanted to be a teacher, and that choice became even more clear to me when I went to college and began tutoring and building relationships with students. I am very passionate about languages and believe that multilingualism is an asset that can unlock tons of doors. I speak Spanish and am planning to continue improving my speaking skills through language exchanges. When I have free time, I love taking walks with my dog, cooking, traveling, and trying new restaurants. Most prominently, I am thrilled to be a part of another year at BDMS!
