About me

Welcome! My name is Mrs. Gauwitz (previously Middleton) (she/her) and I am a 3rd Grade teacher at Brown Deer Elementary School.

I was a middle school teacher in Illinois for 3 years before my adventure to the beautiful state of Wisconsin. I have been teaching for a total of 6 years. I have a cat and a dog and live in Wauwatosa with my husband. I am so grateful to be working in this district! 

In my class, we will be learning about the world around us and ourselves, every day. We will be creating a school family where are all welcome and loved. I can't wait to meet you! 😊
