Sophie is a Lebanese-Belgian-American actor and vocalist currently based in Providence, Rhode Island and New York, New York. She is passionate about new work, and devising ensemble-driven, multi-disciplinary theatre that explores underrepresented narratives and complicates our current social understanding. Favorite past credits include For Life (ABC/Hulu), Marjana and the Forty Thieves (Target Margin Theater), The María Irene Fornés Marathon (The Public Theater), The Protest (Cherry Lane Theatre), Ocean Filibuster (Pearl D’Amour/Abrons Art Center), James Joyce’s The Dead (The Hangar Theatre), and Anastasia (English Musicals Korea in Seoul). Sophie graduated cum laude from Columbia University with a BA in Music, and is currently pursuing her MFA in Acting from Brown University/Trinity Repertory Company.
