Andrew Watring (Andrew) is an interdisciplinary Object-theatre creator, Anarkata-in-training, and educator from sweet home Huntsville, Alabama. Andrew served as the Artistic Director of the Fractal Theatre Collective, a D.C-based anti-capitalist arts community that embraced community-led, anti-racist direct action as an integral element of theatrical design. Andrew has devised, written, and directed several of the Collective’s plays, including Shakespeare is a White Supremacist II, Fractal’s flagship production, centered on holding theatrical institutions of power accountable for their active destruction of our craft. Andrew is currently pursuing an MFA in Directing and Acting at Brown University / Trinity Repertory Company Program (2023).
