REU & Mentoring

Polymath Jr. REU (2021 Summer)

Polymath Jr. REU is designed to provide research experience for students from anywhere in the world via Zoom during the pandemic. I am going to lead a project related to Diophantine m-tuples and elliptic curves. More details about Polymath Jr. can be found here. For my project description, read this page.

Feel free to contact me if you are interested in participating in the project!

I am part of a mentoring program based in Kingston and Toronto, Ontario. Click on the link to learn more about Girls SySTEM mentorship.

Also, feel free to reach out to me if you want to be a mentee, or simply to chat with me!

SMALL REU @ Williams College (2018)

Mentored a project (with Steven J. Miller).

We published what we have found out in the Journal of Number Theory!

On rank and bias in families of hyperelliptic curves via Nagao’s conjecture,

Journal of Number Theory 215 (2020), 339–361, with T. Hammonds, B. Logsdon, Á. Lozano-Robledo, S. J. Miller.

The Directed Reading Program (DRP) pairs undergraduate students with graduate student mentors to pursue an independent reading project during the semesters.

I read a book and did research with A. Walsh! We published our result!

Elliptic Fermat numbers and elliptic divisibility sequences. Integers 20 (2020), Paper No. A29, 13 pp.
