Piano Birthday

Today marks the piano's 1-year anniversary of outdoor life! It was installed on February 17, 2023, on an unseasonably warm winter day, and has been resting under the trees near the Orwig Music Building ever since. It has seen snow and rain, and experienced the heat of summer and cold of winter. It has been played by percussionists and cats, and was the feature of an art student's film. 

Students and community members gathered around the piano for a celebration today, complete with cupcakes and a birthday song.
