Reading of articles from Japan's press with discussion in Japanese. Focuses on explanations and drills on the fine points in grammar and vocabulary as well as on the practice of writing in various styles. Movies and TV shows are used as supplementary materials. Prerequisite: JAPN 0600 or equivalent.
