FYRE Application Instructions

Eligibility Requirements:

• Applicant must be enrolled full-time as a first-year student in a minority-serving institution that is a member of the Leadership Alliance

• Applicant must be in good academic standing

• Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status at the time of the application

• Applicant must be recommended by a faculty member, advisor, or an administrator who is a Leadership Alliance coordinator at their home institution. This person is the Leadership Alliance Summer Opportunity Coordinator. Only one recommendation is required.

Three Application Requirements. A FYRE application is complete when:

1. Student completes the FYRE Application Form

2. Leadership Alliance (Summer Opportunity) Coordinator completes the Recommendation Form

   1. Student submits a transcript of their Fall 2020 grades (unofficial accepted), as an email attachment to Samantha_Andersen@Brown.edu. Include "FYRE"in the subject line of the email.

Deadline for FRYE application is February 15, 2021
