Rhode Runner marks the first step in the new era for Brown Formula Racing. At just 200 kilograms - 33 kg lighter than its predecessor - Rhode Runner is the result of over a year of focused design, iteration, and validation. Nearly every subsystem was overhauled and freshly manufactured in-house, including a custom CP1 titanium exhaust, hollow clamshell airfoils, mode-decoupled front and rear suspension, and structural carbon fiber floor. With over 500 hard testing kilometers under its belt, Rhode Runner has logged more than twice the mileage of the previous record holder, cementing its place as the most thoroughly validated car in team memory. Rhode Runner placed 18th overall in FSAE Michigan finishing Top 20 in five of seven events, including 10th place in endurance and 4th place in cost and earning the team their best placement since 2002. With this historic performance, Rhode Runner ushers in a new era of Brown Formula Racing - with hardware on the horizon.
