Each fall, prior to the start of the academic year, new faculty are welcomed to the university via our New Faculty Orientation activities. You can learn more on the 2026-27 New Faculty Orientation website. An updated page will be shared with faculty with start dates in the 2027-28 academic year.
Mentorship
Mentorship
New early career faculty members are assigned a mentor from outside their department but within their division (Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Physical and Life Sciences). More information will be available soon on the Faculty Peer Mentorship page, and new faculty will receive an email soon with a survey to learn more about their mentorship needs.
