I am a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences at Brown University.
My research is focused on the study of asteroids and meteorites as records of the geochemical and geophysical processes that governed the formation and evolution of our solar system. A major theme of my research is the application of laboratory and spectroscopic techniques at all spatial scales–integrating laboratory analysis, theoretical models, and spacecraft/telescopic observations–to probe the composition and petrology of meteorites, returned samples and asteroids.
I am enthusiastic about space exploration and participate as a science team member on both NASA's OSIRIS-REx and JAXA's Hayabusa2 asteroid sample return missions.
In January 2025 I will be starting a postdoctoral fellowship at the California Institute of Technology, collaborating with Prof. Katherine de Kleer using the James Webb Space Telescope to study origin and evolution of L-type and M-type asteroids.
