If you are interested in applying to the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship (MMUF) program and/or other summer or semester research and fellowship opportunities at Brown (e.g. LINK Awards, Undergraduate Teaching and Research Awards (UTRA), Leadership Alliance Summer Research EIP, Royce Fellowship), listen to the recorded workshop for tips and application strategies on Going from a Good Idea to a Great Proposal!
Each summer, fellows will be sponsored to engage in independent research. To introduce fellows to research and writing skills, they are required to participate to participate in a four-day Brown MMUF Summer Scholar Startup Program in mid-May. And throughout the academic year, fellows will engage in programming to support their ongoing pre-professional development. See Sample Programming for a sampling of programming fellows can expect in the academic year.
