Group Tutoring is a great way to hold yourself and others #accountable for staying on top of your schoolwork. The Dean of the College hosts free semester-long Group Tutoring that generally works like an extra recitation section, in which you are required to attend weekly and you must sign up within the 2nd week of classes only. SEAS Academic Accommodations
If you need academic accommodations related to a disability (such needing extra time on exams or requiring a note-taker for classes), register with Student and Employee Accessibility Services (SEAS) via contacting the SEAS office by email (SEAS@brown.edu) or phone (401-863-9588) to request a SEAS Registration form and Documentation Guidelines Complete the Registration form and return it to SEAS.
Alternatives to Buying/Renting Textbooks
ILLiad/WorldCat: allows for you to borrow books from other libraries in Brown's ~library network~ for approximately 3-4 months at a time – be advised that this might not cover the whole semester!
