Congratulations graduates!! You have not only survived classes and research but also a very trying and tiring year. I hope that whatever your next step is that you have time to relax and soak in your accomplishment - congrats again!
Here is where I taught and met with many of you throughout the pandemic! I know we could not be together in person but in a lot of ways this room holds many happy memories of the past year. Aside from teaching many of you in causal inference and Bayesian inference, I got to know several students through mentoring, advising, and just chatting during office hours. It was a genuine pleasure to do so. Those who are graduating are doing so with as a result of resilience, perseverance and grace, and we in the department are proud of your accomplishments. You should be too! Each of you is an important part of the Brown Biostatistics family and will always be welcome to visit your academic home. Wishing you all the best!
