Experience
Acentech, Noise and Vibration intern. June 2025-August 2025.
Intern in the Cambridge office in the Noise and Vibration group.
Conducted field measurements for commercial gyms, environmental noise surveys, structure-borne vibration issues, and other vibro-acoustic needs using industry standard acoustic equipment. Processed data into client-facing reports that included 1/3 oct. bands, FFT plots, and SPL analyses.
Research Projects:
Researched the transmission of vibration across a slab cut using experimental methods and finite element methods. Experience in using force hammers, accelerometers, and signal processing in Excel and Matlab.
Microflown technology to obtain highly detailed sound level measurements in flow. Additioanlly for in-situ impedance and absorption measurements of different materials.
Experienced in setting up remote monitoring systems, installed/uninstalled systems at Yale and Brown.
Breuer Fluid Mechanics Lab, Undergraduate Researcher
Experience with running experiments In the lab's wind tunnel, Matlab data processing and visualization, and Solidworks design/simulation.
