Visit us at the Club Fair on August 18! (location TBD)
Check out DesertSky-1: Our first weather balloon launch into near space!
Our club will launch small satellites called CubeSats. Our first CubeSat, BrophySat-1, will have the objective of comparing the efficacy of various solar panels in space, benefiting future satellites and space missions with our research.
We believe in using space, the most cutting-edge frontier, to help solve problems here on Earth. Space is truly amazing, and we wish to bring space exploration to Brophy College Prep and inspire those around us.
A lot happens in Brophy CubeSat! We often:
Communicate with outside institutions, including NASA
Use online CAD software to model our CubeSats
CubeSat requires students and mentors with a vast variety of skillsets, such as:
Project Management
Online CAD design
Coding
Engineering
Research
Our meeting schedule: (updated March 10, 2025)
