DesertSky-1

DesertSky-1 was Brophy CubeSat's first high altitude balloon (or weather balloon) mission, designed to be a platform for testing cubesat parts in space in the near future. 

Launched on March 8, 2024, it flew for approximately 170 minutes before landing. It reached an estimated altitude of 90,000 ft - that's higher than commercial aerospace and near the edge of space!
