2nd Grade Teacher

My name is Katie Blevins. I graduated from Ohio University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2008. I started out as a substitute teacher for two years to gain additional experience in the field of teaching before I was offered a full time position here at Brookville. This is my 6th year teaching. I previously taught 3rd grade for two years and have been teaching 2nd grade for five years now. I can proudly say that I have an amazing collaborative relationship with the second grade teachers and couldn't ask for anything more. I am looking forward to another year with the upcoming second graders at Brookville Elementary!

Additional Information

I am a resident of Miamisburg, Ohio where I attended school. I am currently married to Mark and have two daughters (Emma and Georgia). My hobbies include outdoor activities such as playing sand volleyball, playing and coaching t-ball with my daughter Emma, biking, walking/hiking, etc.

I enjoy reading, shopping and most importantly spending time with my family.
