Linda Tinson - Senior Teacher/Centre Manager
Linda is a qualified, registered teacher and has been teaching in the early childhood sector for over 13 years. Initially starting her career as a relieving teacher, Linda soon realised her passion lay in the caring and educating of children. Linda has a strong interest in sustainability and is our resident baker and with the help of the tamariki makes a delicious apple pie!
Jane Hann - Teacher/Kaiako
Jane joined our team recently. She is an experienced qualified, registered early childhood teacher.
Catherine DoHerty - Teacher/Kaiako
Catherine originates from Ireland and joined our team recently. She is a qualified and provisionally registered early childhood teacher.
Tracy Ongun - Teacher/Kaiako
Tracy is our regular relieving teacher, who is a familiar face to many of our tamariki in our community. Tracy has been at BECC both as a parent and as a non qualified teacher. Tracy started regularly relieving at the centre as a teacher and has been with us since 2013. Tracy loves working within her local community and has many talents, she has made a number of quilts for the centre made up of the tamariki's art work which you can see at the centre.
Lynne bremner - Administrator
Lynne has many years experience in early childhood administration focusing on the non-curricular aspects of running a centre. She has a Bachelor of Science (Computing and Mathematics) and spent 15 years in project management and application development roles before transferring the skills she has to the community based early childhood sector. Lynne is an important part of our team and passionately supports the teaching team and management committee.
