Birthday Books Program                                     Birthday Book Form

Candlewood Lake Elementary School has a Birthday Books Program to help enrich our library's collection and honor each participant. With a gift of  twenty dollars, your child will choose a new hardback book to donate to our collection in the library.   Each student who donates a book has his/her photo taken and displayed with the donated book. Bookplates are placed in the books to commemorate your child's birthday, he/she is the first one to use the book, and your generosity is seen by everyone who laters checks out that copy.  We hope our program encourages and celebrates reading with children, and we greatly appreciate your generous participation in the Birthday Books Program!

Birthday Book Club donations since 2001 have totaled nearly 5,000 books!!!!
